Bring your sewing machines and scissors and work with other quilters in making projects for the community. The Spokane Valley Quilters Guild provides support for the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery and the Spokane Valley Community Center, among others, in the form of quilts, Christmas stockings, and other donated items.
This is a lot of fun and a great way to meet others in the guild. You can sew or cut fabric or put together kits for an hour or two, or stay all day if you like. Coffee's on and there are usually some tasty treats!
